If you must...this university is right down the road. Downtown Chapel Hill, along Franklin Street, is a cute university town with some fun restaurants, bars, and shops. Morehead Planetarium and the UNC Basketball Museum are some interesting spots on or near campus to visit. Go Wolfpack and Devils!

There are some beautiful hiking trails throughout the park. Spring time is a wonderful time in NC to be outside!
We have enjoyed hiking and camping at Jordan Lake. There are some beautiful spots overlooking the water.
Carrboro Open Streets from 12-4 on our wedding day. Might be a fun thing to check out on Sunday before our wedding.
For those interested in checking out antique stores, there is a little town, Mebane, about 30 min from Carrboro/Chapel Hill with lots of antique shops near the main street. There is also Sids Surplus which is right across the street from the Hampton Inn which might have some unique treasures. Haven't been there yet, so enter at your own risk :)
