How do I get there?

Answer

Our wedding is on Wadmalaw Island which is about a 40 minute drive from downtown Charleston. Our shuttle will pick up guests from the Residence Inn at 2:30pm on the wedding day. The ride is about 45 minutes to the yacht club. The shuttle will depart after the ceremony at 9:30pm and return to the Residence Inn first and drop off those who wish to continue the night at Blind Tiger Pub downtown after. There are not multiple departure times so if you anticipate wanting to leave early we recommend making other arrangements! If you choose to drive yourself please account for possible traffic and a 10 minute walk to the yacht club. We also request guests arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Where do I park?

Answer

If you are driving, there is a fellowship hall across the road from Rockville Presbyterian Church. You are welcome to park in the grass lot there. It is a short walk away from the yacht club. However, it is a dirt road so wear appropriate shoes! If you are with guests with limited mobility, you are welcome to drop them off in front of the yacht club first. There are a few handicapped spaces in front of the yacht club as well.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Lowcountry Cocktail: A relaxed, daytime take on cocktail. Think flowy dresses and lightweight suits. Comfortable shoes are encouraged, as parts of the event will be on grass and near docks.

Is the wedding child friendly?

Answer

We love kids, but due to the nature of our event, we are asking that this celebration be for adults only. We hope you understand!
