I went with my friend to apartment-sit her brother's place while he was gone (and to meet the roommates). We arrived on the scene only to find two guys playing video games in their rooms separately while shouting at each other through their mics playing the same video game. Over the next few weeks, we visited more often to check in on the guys as she started dating the other roommate at the time. A few games of cards, JackBox, homecooked meals, a calculated placement of a flower arrangement on Terran's coffee-table-book in hopes it would strike a conversation Terran and I slowly began to fall in love.

It was a sunny Saturday morning and Terran suggested we take Pixel, our dog, for a walk and then dash over to the Farmers Market. We grabbed a coffee at our local Starbucks then drove across the street to our local park. After looking at the map Terran picked a little deer trail for us to walk. I was so confused why he picked that trail but was also just happy to be there. About 20 yards down the trail Terran looked at me and asked, " What is THAT on Pixel's Colar?" I got down to her level and looked and looked in search of a sticker burr and after a while of looking finally noticed a new tag in the shape of a heart with an engraving that said, "Will you marry my daddy?" I turned around and saw Terran down on one knee. I was so happy that I was grinning and holding his hands before he could get around a second to ask. He smiled and asked if I would marry him and I let out a half squeal and half sob and exclaimed, "YES"! We had two deer standing in the shrubs that stayed and watched the whole proposal. It was a very magical moment.
