Then we became really close friends over COVID being trapped at Sonoma together! When she moved home I knew about Gabriel, but got to meet Gabriel when they ended up having their beautiful baby Eliseo! 5 years later and here we are!

I have known Kora since our undergrad years at Sonoma state, where we were RAs together! I have had the pleasure of knowing Gabriel since our middle school days. We have been there for very important moments in each other's lives. We wrestled together in high school where we learned discipline, hard work, and most importantly how to have fun. It was my honor to be there when Gabriel asked Kora to prom, and I can still remember how happy he was when she agreed. I admire the father and man Gabriel has become—we all knew he would. We have had parties and reunions where we celebrate our loved ones and accomplishments. We have grown up together, and although at times, because of life, we have had to walk different paths, we always seem to come together when it matters. I am proud to know Gabriel Martinez.
