Nothing like trying to date in Las Vegas in your 20s so we met the "new age" way; a dating app. When you tell someone you met your significant other through a dating app, usually their first impression is, "Oh okay interesting." But we have definitely proven the dating app statistic wrong! When I first met Kyle, I knew that there was something there. Our first date was at Lucile's BBQ followed by an evening of bowling. Even though I barely passed a score of 50 compared to Kyle's score of 200; he still wanted to see me again. We had many more dates to follow until we finally made it official on January 2nd, 2015. With every one of his smiles and laughs, I fell harder. We have shared many ups and even more difficult downs but through it all our love has persevered. I can't even begin to describe the type of person this amazing man is. He is honestly one of the most caring, loving, giving and selfless people I know. Someone I get to come home to every night and know that no matter what happened that day he will either make it better or be there to cheer me on. On September 3rd, 2017 we left Vegas for the most amazing trip of a lifetime and headed to New York City! Neither one of us had ever been there so we knew we had to do and see everything we could in 10 days. On the September 4th, 2017 (our 2nd day there) we had a nice dinner at a Mexican restaurant on the Brooklyn side of the Hudson Bay. Following an amazing dinner, we took a stroll along the beautiful bay and under the famous Brooklyn Bridge. We asked another couple to take our picture with the infamous New York City skyline behind us and it was in that life changing moment that I looked over and saw Kyle down on one knee. It was truly a dream come true and straight out of a fairytale. With tears streaming down my face I said "YES!" I know with 100% certainty that I am marrying my soul mate and man of my dreams. Kyle Allen Kopp, I love you so much!

May - August 2017 Engagement Ring Shopping Time: After rediscovering how much I loved her and our bond had grew stronger than any diamond chemical composition (I already knew she loved me far beyond the reaches of this galaxy). It was time to buy a ring. I researched for weeks, but became lost in all the options, so I asked Lisa (Alix's Mom) and Jessica (Alix's Maid of Honor) for help. I learned so much from them and the jewelers. It was now time. I bought my one and only engagement ring for my one and only future fiancee (check out the pics) Trip of a Lifetime Sept. 3, 2017: Flew to New York City for what she thought was just a normal vacation!
