Question

Where can I buy groceries and alcohol?

Answer

Mas x Menos, translated as “More for Less” and pronounced as “mas por menos”, is located on the main road of Jaco Beach. It is a clean and organized grocery store complete with everything you may need, from groceries to supplies. This complete grocery store has a meat deli, bakery, and wine and alcohol section. They also have a vast supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. While alcohol is available at grocery stores, we suggest stopping at the duty-free shop at SJO airport, which is located right before baggage claim. Alcohol is more affordable at the duty-free shop.
