Our wedding is in Macon, GA, a city approximately 1 hour south of Atlanta known as "the heart of Georgia" for its location in the center of the state. Since we aren't from where we live now in Auburn, AL, we didn't feel tied to searching in only our immediate local area. Flight

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

ATL is approximately 1 hour north of Macon, GA, where we are having our wedding. ATL is the largest airport in the U.S., with flights in and out of most domestic locations. Should you fly into ATL, you would need to arrange transportation from the airport to Macon. The airport offers a variety of rental car services, and you can also book a shuttle from ATL to Macon through Groome Transportation. More information on the Groome shuttle is below.

Train

Groome Shuttle Service from ATL to Macon

If you are traveling without a car and flying into ATL, you can book a Groome Shuttle from the ATL airport to the Macon Groome office location (4540 Sheraton Drive Macon, GA). The shuttle is ~$49 for a one way ride. The Groome Office drop off is ~ a 10 minute drive to either of our preferred wedding hotels, so you may also want to book an Uber or Lyft to transit to your hotel.
