Wedding Party

Christine Paz

Maid of Honor

Abigail’s favorite sister since her existence. CJ is a combination of all the great qualities the rest of the bridesmaids have. We visited The Gas Station from TCM got barbecue and survived. She’s my favorite and I love her.

Sylvia Cornejo

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s longest friend. She hated me in 3rd grade when we’ve never met and by the 4th grade we became best friends. *hairflip* I somehow convinced Sylvia to hop on a one way flight to El Paso and take a road trip back home to Houston. Our friendship survived the desert, the hikes, the boat ride, boiled eggs, and the donkey ride.

Sylvia Nguyen

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s friend since high school. She somehow manages to convince me to join her in random trips and concerts. She convinced me to take a day trip from Austin to Dallas to see Josh Hutcherson, drive around Austin all night with no plan and go to Vegas with her last minute. I've seen so many concerts thanks to her. We've seen Young the Giant (many many times), Mumford and Sons, Ed Sheeran, Glass Animals, Joywave, and Blackpink just to name a few.

Holly Dinh

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s friend since college. We met at community-service organization at UT and we really bonded over food. A coupon to Clay Pit Indian restaurant was the start of our friendship. Now we’re still eating like we’re in our 20s. Also I’m pretty sure she likes Kiki more than me and I’m pretty sure Kiki feels the same.

Jennifer Doan

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s childhood friend since elementary school. My Bub. Once upon a time we lived in LifeTime Fitness and could see each other from the rooftop of our houses. We would find ourselves doing such random, dumb, fun things. We walked/ ran at the park, she was my player 2 in Mario Galaxy, we went to driving school together, we were candy stripe volunteers, and we always went to the mall. Now she’s in TN and I can’t wait until she moves back to TX.

Michelle To

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s childhood friend since middle school. I'm still baffled after learning how close she used to live by my elementary school, yet went somewhere else until we met in middle school. She was my first roommate and I would die a little when she would come back after walking from class and lay on my bed. We also actually did happy hours when we both started working to wait out the 5 o’clock rush hour. It was Michelle’s idea to go to Midnight Rodeo where Terence and I met for the first time.

Natasha Nguyen

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s childhood friend since middle school. I basically lived with Tasha my whole college life and survived thanks to her. It's never a dull moment with her whether it's witnessing her impressive ability to sleep anywhere like on 3 bar stools, unfortunately finding out the hard way what a light switch does during a wedding rehearsal, or whether it's making a lasting friendship from a balcony. She's the most hardcore person I know.

Chelsea Jose

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s childhood friend since elementary school. The most clever, punniest person I know with a kind soul. People would get us mixed up from elementary to high school. At UT we would meet up to study at the Jester Piano room and it was thanks to Chelsea’s musical talents that day that led to Terence and I meeting and getting to know each other.

Kasandra Hernandez

Bridesmaid

Abigail’s ex-coworker. I learned how to survive the beginning of my career in the OR thanks to Kasy. She was the surgical technologist I would always work with and we would attend "sad hours" after getting stuck at work together. There were a lot of “sad hours”. We mostly kept out of trouble except for that one time the surgeon suggested we get formal training in Colorado. Since then we’ve traveled together and live through each others travels.

Jason Ko

Best Man

Jason is my brother. When people ask me if I am the younger brother or older brother, I always ask them to guess, and I always get told younger brother. I once tried to go shot-for-shot with him on a night out. I have very little memory of that night, and he still had room for more. I am also proud of him and love him very much.

Adarsh Kumar

Groomsman

Adarsh is my oldest friend. He moved to Pearland in 6th grade, had the same homeroom teacher Ms. Kinsey, and I am pretty sure our friendship kicked off talking about Final Fantasy. The rest is history, because literally over 2 decades later, we are now playing Final Fantasy XVI and chatting about it.

Cody Xu

Groomsman

I met Cody through card games. My favorite memory of Cody is when I asked if he wanted to play a match of Magic: The Gathering with competitive rule enforcement. He agreed, probably thinking that I was in over my head as a new player. Cody then accidentally shuffled in a card, then drew that card during a game. He lost that game, but I think I still lost the match.

Phil Waller

Groomsman

Phil has the honored achievement of being my first work colleague turned into TRUE friend. Seeing his desk riddled with gaming paraphrenalia told me "Alright, I think I can get along with this guy." And sure enough we have. Before moving to remote work, we ate lunch together every day, and even in our current hybrid work environment, it would feel weird to not get lunch with him once a week.

Taylor Siska

Groomsman

Taylor Siska is an enigma to me. I always remember the tall shy kid in high school, who was still a bit of a charmer, and also really good at Halo. His handle was Elimenator357 (spelling is correct...). Now we're adults playing golf at a considerably worse level than our video game skills and talking about our boring grown-up situations.

Tommy Harrison

Groomsman

Tommy lives in my personal circle of "Kingdom Hearts Enjoyers". There aren't many of us, and it's not good, but we like it. My favorite memory of Tommy is when we were at Taylor's bachelor party. Nothing particularly crazy happened, but I always think about it whenever I want to cheer myself up.

Wyatt Beavers

Groomsman

Wyatt is quite literally the sole reason I ever played Super Smash Bros. Not because he was particularly good or an inspiration. It was because we were always down to play at the office, and the online experience of Smash Bros. is unbearable. We have ran the same Mario vs. Donkey Kong matchup for literally over 5 years, and we *still* never get tired of it. "This gorilla... he can do it...!"
