When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please no jeans, shorts, polo shirts, or sneakers!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) so please dress accordingly! The reception will be indoors, which is climate controlled.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample FREE parking just a short walk behind the Birkby House in the Liberty Street Garage and a parking garage down Loudoun Street.
