Why January 22nd? Josh's Birthday is 4/22 and Michelle's 10/22, being exactly 6 month apart we always joked if we got married or had a child it should be on 1/22 or 7/22! Being heat adverse and more fall/winter souls we went for January! Also Michelle is calendar challenged and this makes it much easier for her to remember.
I met Michelle at work, where I made a juvenile attempt to get her attention. I didn't think I was successful until my team was brought into Michelle's training room, where she was learning tech support's ins and outs. In training, I was usually bored and since sometimes I am a grown child, I often make an ass of myself. In this particular instance, the trainer was asking questions, and before they had a chance to call on the rest of the class I was answering. If I am being honest, I just wanted the training to be over. While this was happening I kept hearing the same answer, about half a heartbeat behind mine but barely audible. So finally realizing this, I stopped about halfway through and turned only to find Michelle staring daggers at me still answering the current question. My quip at the tail end of her finishing was "So you're my little voice!" That is what I have called her since.
Josh gave me his number at work and said to text him later if I wanted to meet up. However after work when I messaged him he never responded! The next day he asked why I hadn't texted - direct as always - and I responded that I had. Turns out Josh had given me the wrong number. I mean bold move to pull on someone you work with! We eventually sorted it out as somehow he had mixed up his phone number and the next time he actually responded.
