Lauren and Brandon met in November 2019 at a Friendsgiving party hosted by Melanie and Ryan Restivo. Lauren and Melanie met while working at PwC in Philadelphia and Brandon and Ryan have been friends since childhood. At the Friendsgiving, Brandon struck up a conversation with Lauren and by the end of the night had asked Lauren out. For their first date, Brandon planned a lovely night exploring the holiday shops at Bryant Park in Manhattan just a few days prior to Thanksgiving 2019. Lauren and Brandon quickly bonded over movies, music and a shared love of sports (the Giants / Eagles rivalry being a particularly important one!). While getting to know one another Brandon would spend weekends at Lauren's apartment in Keyport, NJ and Lauren would make trips to Yonkers, NY. Lauren and Brandon have enjoyed taking trips together, with the highlight being a trip to Dublin and Galway, Ireland in the summer of 2023. They also enjoy spending time with Brandon's family in New York and Lauren's family in Pennsylvania and their friends spread throughout NY, NJ and PA. Lauren and Brandon moved in together in the Summer of 2022 and have since called the McLean Heights section of Yonkers, NY home. Over Thanksgiving 2023, on the 4 year anniversary of meeting, Brandon popped the question to Lauren and she happily said “YES!”. We can't wait to celebrate with you all on November 8th!
