Their story began in College Station, TX in 2018 at the well-known Chimy’s. Fate decided to play bartender when Kolten asked Alix… “Can I get you a margarita?”. Little did he know, Alix’s obsession for margaritas rivaled her love for almost anything else on the planet. At the time, Kolten was entering his senior year and had set his sights on a job opportunity in Houston. They decided to embrace the remaining time in College Station and once Kolten graduated and moved, their ability to openly communicate reinforced their strong bond despite the distance between them. No topic was off-limits and they knew they could always rely on each other for support, advice, and laughter. After graduating, Alix made the decision to move to Houston and say goodbye to College Station and the opportunities in Dallas, to a new chapter filled with traffic jams and endless humidity :) But Houston welcomed them with open arms, offering amazing jobs and a supportive community. It was a place for them to grow in their relationship as “adults”. Kolten, ready to take the next step with Alix forever, proposed on April 10, 2023. They are so lucky to have the best family and friends and look forward to celebrating the best day of their lives with you!
