They met at the everyones favorite place SUNY Cortland. One of the first couple of days Nicolette had moved in to her freshman dorm, she was invited over to the football house with open arms. Having mutual friends at college, it made it that much easier to be around each other and enjoy each other's company. One night and many pitchers later in 2016 Greg and Nicolette had their first kiss. It wasn't until after they had both graduated and returned home to Long Island that their relationship would rekindle and they would find their way back to one another. Labor day weekend of 2019 Nicolette was out in Montauk with her family, Greg was meeting friends out there for the weekend and asked Nicolette if he could join her and her family on the beach that day until his friends arrived. From that moment on they enjoyed the weekend together on the beach, bar hopping around town and falling in love, a true Montauk love story. Their favorite place, with so many memories and more to come on October 13th, 2024.

Nicolette and Greg have spent countless days in Montauk and yet Greg has never been to the light house. Nicolette always said one day we will go, and to her surprise that one day would be the day she said yes. It was just another memorial day weekend for the couple heading out east when Greg quickly decided that he wanted to go see the light house as they approached the town, Nicolette not thinking anything of it because she is used to his structured ways said, "right now? no I am hungry." Greg being behind the wheel (after being pulled over and stopping for the bathroom 3 times) was determined to get to the light house. As they pulled up they realized the light house was closed and having construction done, this discourage Greg but didn't stop him from popping the question. After aimlessly walking around and taking in the beautiful views of "the end," Greg got down on one knee and asked Nicolette to marry him, when she replied yes, he screamed as if the New York Jets won the Superbowl and from then on, it was just their beginning.
