Bridesmaid-sister of bride
Growing up seven years apart, it wasn't until their 20s that these two became close. Kolleene loved visiting Kimberly in Colorado for Thanksgivings and Kimberly would frequently visit Kolleene in Orlando- they even did a few half marathons together at Disney! Today, they're still many states apart, but see each other every few months during routine family gatherings.

Growing up Kolleene and Paul had their fair share of sibling rivalries, but in high school is when their relationship really shifted to best buds. Kolleene became cool to Paul and his "bros" when she got her drivers license, and would drive them to Culver's. As Kolleene moved to Florida she became even cooler- now "the bros" had a vacation spot to visit! Over the years, these two lived farther apart but grew closer as friends. Kolleene enjoyed visiting Paul during his time at CSU and over Family Autumns in Chicago. Paul could frequently be found showing up to lend a hand wherever needs are- he's that guy that steps up to moving furniture and help pack a uhaul. There's no doubt, Paul would be helpful ensuring all the wedding decorations make it safely to the venue, so we figured we'd make sure to secure him a spot standing up beside us on our special day.

There's far too much to say about Kolleene and Kristina's part in each other's lives. Both of them living in Florida has allowed them to grow very close and be present for some monumental milestones. Kristina opened her home to Kolleene multiple times and in exchange, Kolleene got to be very involved in her nephews childhood. There has been many laughs and tears shared between these two, and we expect nothing less on wedding day!
Groomsman
Rusty was fortunate to meet Steve a long long time ago. It all started with a shady racecar parts exchange. Rusty was selling a used racecar body & Steve just couldn't resist- the deal was just too good to be true! Little did they know, it was the exchange that would lead to many more. Today they support eachothers endeavors- whether that's donuts, generator needs, moving heavy purchases, exchanging construction & car advice, they are a dude duo that some might even call bestfriends.
Bridesmaid
Kolleene and Christina's friendship almost didn't happen. In 2009 both ladies were accepted to the Disney College program. Roommate selection was based off who you were standing in line with at check in. So if you were smart, ahead of time you could try to find four decent ladies to stand with in line to get assigned together. And that's what they did-planned a time to meet to check in together. Well, simply put, Christina was late and Kolleene didn't want to wait, so she decided to head in without Christina. In the 11th hour, rushing (from a 3hr drive), cutting everyone in line, Christina made it just in time to join the group. This was the beginning of what became a truly special friendship and a wild lifelong adventure only the two of them will understand. Just ask their family members ;-)

Kristine and Kolleene's friendship began on the BHS golf team. These two quickly realized that their quirky weirdness matched; playing pranks and going on silly adventures throughout high school. As adult life started to take over, their roles in each other's life grew too- always making an effort to visit each other- in Florida, Texas, and Chicago. Standing beside each other is something Kolleene and Kristine have always done and so it was a sure thing that Kristine would be part of this special day.
Flower Girl
Sarah entered Kolleene & Steve's life a bit unexpectedly but quickly staked a special place in their hearts. Kolleene began working with Sarah when Sarah was four months old and in the year following, their relationship grew into an extension of family, where visiting for holidays and birthdays became a priority. Nowadays, you'll hear Sarah wanting to visit "Uncle Steve" just so she can play with Ms. Kolleene. We are so grateful that Sarah's parents, Kate & Dave, brought such a kind little kiddo into this world and we feel honored to have little Sarah be part of our special day!
