They say "when you know, you know" and for us, it has never been more true. Peter always jokes that from the first day we met, he knew he was going to marry me since he skipped Thursday Night Football for the date. I remind him that he actually ditched our true first date due to a hangover. Either way that first date on October 22, 2020, was the very best day...until now.

People ask if I knew it was coming- the answer always being I knew it would happen eventually, but not on a Thursday! I got home from school and Peter was there- not typical but not a huge shock. When I stepped into our home, I barely greeted him before Peter got down onto one knee. I was shocked and even had to ask to take my jacket off. Peter gave a beautiful speech in our beautiful first home and I couldn't think of a more perfect proposal. I THINK I said "Yes!" I KNOW I said "Wait, it's a Thursday!?" and "Wow that ring box has a light in it." The rest of the week was a whirlwind filled with so much love and, of course, a fiance!

We are so excited to share our best day ever with each and every one of you! We know you have all had a part in our love story and we are so grateful. We are lucky to witness so much love between our families and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing our day with us!
