03/17/2024 - First date photo! Michael’s dad told him that he should take a picture on every first date, because one day, he would marry one of those girls. Turns out that was some pretty good advice...

12/07/2023 - Despite having crossed paths numerous times in college, Ana and Michael did not really get to know each other until playing D&D with friends. This is their first picture together, before Michael took his mother's advice to "get to know more women" and proceeded to make the best decision of his life.

04/13/2024 - Ana invited Michael to come see Prince Caspian with a group of friends. Michael paid a lot of money to get a last minute ticket, but it was worth it because their arms touched *gasp* while sitting next to each other during the performance.

04/30/2024 - Michael invited Ana to Liberty Ball. Despite looking very awkward in this photo, it was a lovely evening. They had their first slow-dance here.

04/30/2024 - This is one of Ana's favorite photos. She found it posted on someone else's Instagram (creepy? maybe.) From the beginning, there has always been a lot of laughing and delight between Michael and Ana

5/16/2024 - First date photo after Michael officially asked Ana out. They sat on the Panera patio way after it closed.

06/07/2024 - Ana and Michael went swing dancing in Winchester, a favorite hobby of theirs.

09/21/2024 - Ana's dad snapped this photo of them sitting in front of Michael's favorite painting at the NatGal. Later, Michael's mom posted it on Facebook, with the caption, "Michael has found the love of his life," prompting some people to think they had gotten engaged... whoops

07/10/2025 - This is one of Ana and Michael's favorite photos, when they went to see Les Mis at the Kennedy Center.

04/02/2024 - Ana and Michael's first road trip to friends' wedding. Ana was nervous the long drive would be awkward and they would run out of things to talk about. They did not. (They did almost run out gas though).

12/31/2024 - Michael changed his travel plans last minute to some spend part of Christmas with Ana's family. If you couldn't tell by the picture, Ana was very happy.

04/12/2025 - Also one of Ana's favorite photos. Michael surprised her with a kiss while taking a polaroid for the photo book at a friend's wedding. Ana insisted on keeping this picture, now displayed on the back of her phone case. Her 3rd grade students call this the "kissy photo."

07/30/2025 - Just a cool photo taken at a swing dancing event.

02/07/2026 - The most iconic moments of the proposal was when Noah, in a desperate attempt to keep Ana's attention, said, "I really like the plants in here. I know they're fake, but they're nice plants."

02/07/2026 - Shoutout to Gabe and Justine, who took such lovely photos! The dedication was real - Gabe forged through fake bushes to capture some of the key moments.

02/07/2026 - In the words of the great American poet, "I hate accidents, except when we went from friends to this. You're the one I want."

02/07/2026 - [Michael here. Not as good at this as Ana, so here I go.] After nearly two years of dating, and over a year of talking about marriage, Michael finally asked and Ana finally said yes!
