Summertime in northern Wisconsin is like summer camp! Think warm summer days with highs in the 80s, cooler nights to the 60s, and a great time to be outside.
We will have a block at the Staybridge Inn & Suites, which is in the River Prairie neighborhood, just a few minutes from the country club. Nearby/walkable are a couple coffee shops, grocery store, multiple restaurants, and a hiking path along the river! Other options are The Lismore Hotel or The Oxbox hotel nearby in downtown Eau Claire, Airbnb or VRBOs nearby on Lake Altoona or on Lake Wissota, or other hotels in Eau Claire near the highway 94 and the mall.
The Eau Claire Golf & Country Club has an easy entrance and lots of parking! Otherwise, Eau Claire has an Uber presence. We will also have a shuttle from the hotel block to the country club starting at 4:15 pm. If making the trip from out of state, we thank you so much and are so excited to spend time with you! Flying into MSP in Minneapolis/St. Paul may be the cheapest, then rental cars or a shuttle from MSP to Eau Claire are available. There is a smaller Chippewa Falls airport, not as busy typically. Please reach out directly for questions or advice!
Yes! We would love for our reception to be a lovely time with all our family and friends and bundles of joy! We are planning some activities for the kids to enjoy.
Cocktail hour with appetizers starts at 4:30 pm. A shuttle will start from the hotel at 4:15 pm. We will then have dinner, outdoor games, dessert, and a live band to bring us into the evening!
On Sunday, August 10th, we are having a small ceremony with immediate family on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We are excited to celebrate with everyone at our reception on Saturday, August 16th in Eau Claire at the Eau Claire Golf & Country Club!

We plan on having an entree choice that's vegan and gluten free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Our cocktail hour appetizers will also all be clearly marked if they are allergy friendly (and there will be multiple allergy-friendly options). If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
Garden party attire at the country club! Think summery, floral dresses and light, fun suits. Enjoy an evening dressed up outside on the lawn!

All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail party on the evening before our wedding, we are still determining the location for this! We invite our out-of-town guests to also join us for brunch and/or day on the water the morning after our reception.
