Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite things in Omaha with you!

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

3701 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68107

Wonderful place to check out during the day, or during the night! In the evening, Zoolightful features dazzling lanterns and evening light displays, great for families and couples alike. We went here for a date with the lights all on, needless to say it was a blast!

Omaha Community Playhouse

6915 Cass Street, Omaha, NE 68132

“A Christmas Carol” at the Omaha Community Playhouse — a long-running festive tradition and a great way to get into the holiday spirit.

Smash Park La Vista

8121 S 125th St, La Vista, NE 68128

Smash Park isn’t just one thing — it’s a game park + restaurant + bar rolled into one. You and your group can play games, eat good food, and enjoy drinks without having to go to multiple places. This is a great place to play indoor pickleball in Omaha, so bring your own paddles!

Gene Leahy Mall at The RiverFront

1001 Douglas Street, Omaha, NE 68102

Seasonal outdoor rinks pop up around town, this is a great option if the weather cooperates.

Lauritzen Gardens

100 Bancroft Street, Omaha, NE 68108

Thousands of poinsettias bursting with rich, vibrant color fill the floral display hall in a glowing tribute to the holidays during Lauritzen Gardens’ holiday poinsettia show. The show’s centerpiece is a magnificent 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree. Full of festive foliage, glittering ornaments and the whir and whistle of model garden trains, this show evokes the warmest greetings of cheer.

Topgolf

908 North 102nd Street, Omaha, NE 68114

Go-to for casual competition in the Omaha area! You hit golf balls from a covered bay toward giant targets spread out across a field. The balls have microchips in them, so the system automatically tracks how far and how accurately you hit. You earn points by hitting targets—no golf experience needed.
