The Domain
One of Cassie's favorite places to go in Austin! A large outdoor shopping mall packed with restaurants and a bar district. Try a scoop of Wildberry Lavender at Jeni's Ice Creams, sample some skincare products at Lush, or check out the quirky photo-ops at Wonder Bar!
West 6th Street
Dirty 6th without the dirty. A street lined with lively nightclubs and bars. Expect upbeat music, crowds, and plenty of yuppies. We first held hands outside Green Light Social! Pro-tip: Look for the speakeasy inside Kung Fu Saloon.
Pease District Park
Bring your little ones to enjoy the interactive water feature, Treehouse Observation Pod, playground, and nature.
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
Summers in Texas are no joke. Need to beat the heat? Cool off at the pool and grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks along Barton Springs Road afterwards!
Zilker Metropolitan Park
Just a few steps down the street from the Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park is a spacious and grassy landscape, home to the annual Austin City Limits music festival. Lay down a picnic blanket and watch the sun set along the skyline!
Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller
If you're still in town on Sunday morning, check out the food and trinkets from local vendors at the farmer's market! We recommend a refreshing lemonade from the CTRUS juice stand.
