Kohl and I first met while he was vacationing in North Carolina with some of our family friends. Although we didn’t have the chance to truly connect during that initial meeting—we only exchanged a brief goodbye—it was clear that there was something special worth exploring. The following day, with a little help from my grandmother, who was hosting him during his stay, we exchanged phone numbers. What began as a simple conversation quickly turned into daily FaceTime calls, texts, and long phone conversations. Within a month, I booked a flight to see him again, eager to spend more time together and see where this connection might lead. From that second visit on, we were inseparable. We traveled back and forth to see each other nearly every month until Kohl made the move to North Carolina in September 2024. Just a few months later, in December 2024, we became engaged, and now we are joyfully preparing to be married this April. We are so grateful for the journey that brought us together and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. 💍
