The dress code is semi-formal. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work. No blue jeans please!
Yes, there should be plenty of parking at the ceremony and reception for all those invited!
We want you to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us which is why we decided to have an adult only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at home.
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.
There is a decent gap of time between the two events, so we have some recommendations listed under the "Things To Do" tab. If you are a family member of the bride or groom, we will be doing pictures following the ceremony at River Church. Otherwise, take the scenic route and enjoy the drive to Elizabeth! For our out of town guests: there is a place to stop right before heading over the bridge from Sabula to Savanna. If you are an eagle enthusiast, there's a good chance you may witness one or two at this stop. I've linked some of our favorite coffee stops as well just in case there are any coffee lovers looking to spend their time that way.
We will be having a buffet featuring rib eye sandwiches grilled by the Jo Daviess Beef Association. Additionally, there will be a mixed salad, green beans, potato salad, as well as mac & cheese on the side.
