FAQs

Question

When should I plan to arrive?

Answer

We're planning to have some welcome drinks on the afternoon of August 18th (the day before the wedding), and we'd love for you to join us if you can! More details coming soon.

Question

How do I reach the wedding location?

Answer

The wedding venue, Château de la Croix, is located in Neuilly-en-Sancerre, approximately a two-hour drive from Paris. If you're travelling by train, there is a direct service from Paris Bercy to Cosne-sur-Loire. From there, Sancerre is just a 20-minute taxi ride away, and the château is a further 15 minutes by car. There is also an on-demand shuttle service between Cosne-sur-Loire and Sancerre. The service must be booked in advance by calling +33 806 70 33 33 (Monday–Saturday, 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.). Reservations should be made no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day before travel. The shuttle provides connections between Cosne-sur-Loire train station and Sancerre and can also offer local pick-up within the service area. More information: www.remi-centrevaldeloire.fr While Tracy–Sancerre is the closest train station, we generally recommend travelling via Cosne-sur-Loire, as it offers more transport options, including taxis and bus connections. If you have any questions about travel or logistics, please don't hesitate to get in touch—we're happy to help and want your journey to Sancerre to be as smooth as possible.

Question

How do I book a taxi in Sancerre?

Answer

We've uploaded a list of recommended local taxi companies here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CydV8kUPqFDoQuF-8pWb8WLwLvaXd9wm?usp=sharing As Sancerre is a small rural area, we recommend booking your taxi in advance, especially during the busy summer season. Please note that some taxi companies and drivers may have limited English, so communicating in French—or using a translation app such as Google Translate or DeepL Translate—may be helpful.

Question

Can we post photos or videos on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from posting any photos or videos of our wedding on social media. We’d love to keep this special day private and enjoy it fully with you in the moment. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the celebration intimate.
