FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 22, 2026 or your earliest convenience. You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab above, enter your name, and indicate whether you’ll be able to attend or not. Any guests who have not responded by this date will be marked as not attending for our final headcount.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors open at 3:30 PM and the ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes prior, no later than 3:45 PM.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Venue address: 1441 N. Twin Oaks Valley Rd | San Marcos, CA 92069 | The ceremony will take place outdoors on the beautiful lawn at our venue. The reception location will be announced soon, as we have both indoor and outdoor options available, depending on the weather. In late May, temperatures typically range from the mid-60s to mid-70s°F around 5 pm. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater in case it gets chillier later in the evening.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We kindly request that all of our guests dress in semi formal attire. Our recommended colors are dusty blue, golden yellow, and brown/taupe (or black, always a safe choice) feel free to wear something in these tones if you can. Please no jeans, slippers, shorts, boots, casual dresses, or t-shirts. Please refrain from colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivory, and cream.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests other than who is listed on your RSVP. Your RSVP will reflect how many seats have been reserved in your honor. If you have any further questions, please reach out to Nathalie or Kody. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore children, we ask that only those listed on the RSVP attend the wedding. We encourage parents to take this opportunity to enjoy a date night and celebrate with us!

Question

Can we bring our own alcohol to the wedding?

Answer

Please note, our venue has a strict no-outside alcohol policy. Bringing your own alcohol is NOT permitted on venue grounds. Please help us avoid any unnecessary fees/fines.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking for guests. Overnight parking is permitted; vehicles must be picked up by 9 AM the next morning.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've put together a list of hotels near the venue to make your stay as convenient as possible. Please refer to the Travel tab above. If you plan to spend some time in the city during your stay, please keep in mind San Diego is 30-40 unite drive from the venue. If you'd like to stay closer to the city for the rest of the weekend, please remember to make accommodations for that stay as well. Feel free to reach out to us if you need help finding a place or have any questions!
