Formal, ladies may want to ware short heels or flats as the sugar sand makes the ground soft.

She should wear: A long dress, a dressy suit, or a formal cocktail-length dress. October can still be warm in South Carolina, but ladies might benefit from a shawl or light coat after the sun goes down.
