We have the typical "new-age" story - a dating app! I never thought I'd be so grateful for an app, but it has changed my life for the better. After a few months of chatting we finally had our first date - watching the Vikings play the Packers at Buffalo Wild Wings. The Vikings won so we knew we should probably keep each other around! We became official early into 2021 and now here we are!

Kody and I have a certain path we take every time we go on walks together in our neighborhood. Part of this path is going over a small bridge with a little body of water under it! Kody has said ever since the first time we walked over it together in 2021, he knew this is where he was going to ask. On a random Wednesday evening he decided it was time and took me on our usual walk. Except this time with something special in his pocket. When I got to the middle of the bridge he told me to look at the ducks on the water and when I turned back around to him, I see a big grin as he's reaching in his pocket. I hugged him before he could say a word, but I eventually let him get it out! Of course I said "yes!" and shot a few pictures with his friend Jared Eischen to celebrate! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
