I’m Kody, and I’m the groom. You’ve all heard the story of how we met. But here’s the story of when I knew Aly was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.. Aly and I are originally met at Fit by Hylands Hills. I was new to the facility and Aly was the first person to show me around with her warm positive spirit. I don’t know what it was about her, but after my shift at work I could not stop thinking about her. Eventually, we went on our first date and I knew right away she was something special. I just remember on our first date I could not stop staring at her beautiful blue eyes. Aly has always shown so much empathy and love in every step of our relationship. She is the woman who always pushes me forward to better myself and become a better man everyday. I could not ask for a better life partner and I cannot wait to marry Alyssia.
Alyssia (Aly)
Bride
I’m Aly and I’m the bride! Most of y’all know the story of how Kody and I met. But what about the story of when I 100% knew he was the one? It’s honestly very silly. Kody and I were sleeping one summer night and a horrible thunder storm hit our apartment. The thunder was so crazy, it shook the building and woke me up. If you know me, I hate storms as It’s scary! Anyway, a big thunder shook our apartment and Kody rolled over, held me tight, and said as long as I’m in his arms, I don’t need to be scared of anything. He will always keep me safe. Well. 6 years later.. I LOVE thunderstorms (as long as I’m inside) because as long as I have my best friend, I’m always safe.
Andrew
Best Man
Me and Andrew have been friends since grade school. Andrew is such a positive and caring person that I get to call my friend. One of my favorite memories with Andrew goes back to our middle school days. I was big into skateboarding and he and our friend Aaron saw me doing kick flips down some stairs at school. I kept taking some bad falls but kept getting up. At that time, Andrew and Aaron came up and asked to skate with me. It was that day I made a life long friend.
Nikki
Maid of Honor
I (Aly) have known Nikki since I was just a few minutes old. She is my big sister. Some of my favorite memories are ones with everyone asking us “are you guys twins!?” And we look at each other like they’re crazy because we are actually almost 2 years apart. Just kidding. My favorite memory with Nikki will always be when me, her, and the C/Kodys went to the beach in Florida and we got stranded in a tropical storm. We were all soaked!! And so was our car ticket to get out of the parking lot. It took us 5 minutes and a ton of laughing but the machine finally took the ticket! And we thought it was the funniest thing. (It was a “you had to be there moment”)
Cody

Cody will soon be my future brother in law. Cody truly is a great man. I love how Cody like basically anything outdoors. We have been snowboarding, off roading, shooting, boating and more. Cody like to have a good time and that is one thing that makes me excited to call him my brother.

When I met Mia, it was like sisters from other misters. She is the best friend whom you only meet once in a lifetime. A best friend who touches not only your heart, but your soul. There’s to many great memories to share. But my favorite ones are those when we’d laugh so hard we cry, then cry because our ribs hurt from laughing.

I met Bryce when we were both kids. I remember playing outside all summer long with me, my sister, and Bryce. Bryce is a great person and always there to go golfing or just hang out. I cant wait to have Bryce stand with me on me and Aly’s wedding day.
Miya
Bridesmaid
Miya is Kody’s little sister. From the moment I (Aly) met Miya, I have always had the same impression of her. Miya is SUPER friendly and the most positive person I have ever met! Miya is the type of person that can have 10 hours of homework but then say “at least it’s not 11!” My favorite memory with Miya is when we sticky noted Kodys car on Valentine’s Day 2020. We used 7 sticky note pads and there wasn’t a single spot that wasn’t covered! But it was the moment of laughing our booties off and then waiting an hour in the parking lot for him to get off work that made it a fun night! I remember sitting it the car asking “is he going to hate us?” And Miya laughing so hard, she could barely say “probably but it’s going to be hilarious!” It was such a fun night that we will never forget! PS.. he clearly doesn’t hate us.
Lukas
Ring Bearer
Lukas is the ring bearer for the wedding. He is Aly’s youngest nephew. He is 4 years old. Lukas loves helping out with anything! Airing up a tire, working on cars, fixing four wheelers, anything! Lukas also enjoys playing with remote control toys, building anything, puzzles, and most of all, playing in water! Not only does he love being engaged in everything, he is also very sweet and loving! If you ask him who his best friend is, it’s “momma” (Aly’s sister) He can make anyone smile with either his silly faces or his adorable sense of humor!
Haylee
Flower Girl
Little Haylee is going to be the flower girl. She is Kody’s cousin. Haylee loves school, she likes helping others, and she is athletic! She is very smart and such a big sweetheart!
Tuco
Dog of honor
Tuco is our 3 year old Shiba Inu. One night, I (Aly) randomly pulled up “puppies.com” and told Kody we should get a dog. I think he was half kidding when he said yes. We discussed how we absolutely cannot afford a dog right now! But 2 days later, we were driving out to Kansas to get her. The past 3 years have been the best and we love tuco more than anything! We love being Shiba parents!
