Please arrive at 12:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Summer Semi-Formal: Summer cocktail dresses for women. Suit jacket & slacks for men. Wear your dancing shoes!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As our reception will be for adults only, we kindly ask your family to make child care arrangements. However, we would like to help organize child care. If you are interested in this option, please reach out Nina Kodros at (847) 280-1980

Question

I am over 21, do I need to bring my ID?

Answer

Yes, bartenders will be checking IDs during Cocktail Hour.

Question

How should I prepare for High Elevation (7,523′)?

Answer

Acclimating to high elevation should be taken seriously. Several days before you arrive and during your entire stay increase your water intake to several quarts a day. Yet the body needs more than water. Too much water by itself can throw your body off-balance. You need salt and electrolytes to keep your system operating healthily. Some low- or no-sugar sports drinks have the proper amount of salt and electrolytes to help you maintain or regain that balance. Also, staying at a lower elevation at the beginning of your trip will help you acclimatize. We recommend exploring Denver when you arrive, then make your way up to the mountains. Symptoms of Altitude Sickness: headache, feeling and being sick, dizziness, tiredness, loss of appetite, shortness of breath. Please take it slow and listen to your body!

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Due to Estes Park's noise ordinance, the reception will end promptly at 10pm. We ask that you please respect the ordinance and say your goodbyes quietly.

Question

Are there rideshares (Uber/Lyft) available in Estes Park?

Answer

There are no ride shares (Uber/Lyft) available in Estes Park. We ask that you organize your own transportation to and from the ceremony and reception prior to our wedding.

Question

Are there room blocks?

Answer

July is Estes Park's busiest season, therefore hotels do not give the opportunity for room blocks. We advise you to book your accommodations as soon as possible! Visit our travel page for more information on accommodations. Reservations for the YMCA open January 3rd, 2024!
