Story Time with Kayla: Once upon a time, Kodie met a beautiful girl on TikTok. Convinced there was no way she could be real, Kayla told her, “just plan a date and find out!” Kodie and Kayla sat on the phone together for the entire two hour drive to Sacramento, discussing every possible outcome. They talked up until Kodie walked into brunch where she was meeting Sierra for the first time. Hours went by, without Kayla hearing a word from Kodie. Now thinking to herself, “did I just give the worst best friend advice ever? What if she wasn’t real?!” The panic had set in…Come to find out, Kodie and Sierra were just busy falling in love at first sight and planning their entire future together. Fast forward a year later, Kayla was tasked with shutting down Snow Whites Wishing Well in Disneyland (although not having authority to do so — if you know her, you know she somehow made it happen perfectly) for their dream proposal. Sierra said, “YES!” and the newly engaged couple lived happily ever after.

Who would’ve thought: “The first night I met Sierra, Kodie invited me to BJ’s Restaurant in Sacramento to meet her girlfriend, later on in the night she told me Sierra was the one and was going to marry her. That led to Sierra and I having numerous nights of struggling to play dominos, having deep conversations outside of The 19th Hole, and attempting to dance at The Barn with no care in the world. Who would’ve thought we would become best friends

Kodie and I have known each other since we were young kids on the softball field playing on my dad’s team. Ever since then she’s been part of the family and like another sister to me. If it wasn’t for Kodie I wouldn’t have met Sierra. When Sierra and I met we instantly became friends. I became the second best thing to happen to Sierra since she moved to Hollister. She’s a friend that I can count on to be there no matter what it is and a friend who I know always comes with a great time. Whether it is sitting on the couch watching a movie, going out for a drink or wine tasting, we always have a great time together. I wish nothing but the best for Kodie and Sierra

Hi, I’m Erica! Kodie and I have a unique connection because not only have we been friends and family since birth but both our moms have been friends since they were 4 years old. Growing up Kodie and I could not be more opposite in our interests but strangely this never affected us having a deep inseparable bond. Despite our differences we always shared a common love: Disneyland! Growing up we have likely been spotted racing around the park, slurping down dole whips, and snacking on churros together. From the diaper days, to discussing our tween crushes, to being each others bridesmaids it’s safe to say that Kodie has always been there. I’m so blessed to have such a loyal and hilarious friend to cheer me up during the hard times and party on with me during the good times. Congrats Kodie and Sierra, love you!
