Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We could not imagine our day without our favorite kiddos. There will be a special room available for kids entertainment with babysitters on duty! Movies, crafts, snacks, etc... Kids can play while the adults play, AKA kids will be right down the hall for you to check on if you desire. If you have young kids or babies, please bring blankets, toys, bottles, and snacks for them if you plan on leaving them in the kids room.

Lodging?

Answer

We have a block or rooms reserved right down the road from the church and reception venue at the Clarion Hotel for December 2nd and 3rd. When reserving please call and say "Ryan/Osmanski Wedding". There are handicap, double queen rooms, and king rooms reserved at $90 a night. Breakfast is included at the Black Sheep Restaurant located in the lobby of the hotel.

How do we get from the ceremony to the reception venue?

Answer

The ceremony will be at Sacred Heart Cathedral, just a block away from the Cactus Hotel. The Cactus Hotel offers parking in the parking garage on the 2nd and 3rd floors for our event. Pleas have your parking pass ready to show security. Make sure to park in the parking garage no later than 3:30pm. From here, you are able to walk one block to the church for the ceremony. If you would like to drop off guests at the church before parking, that is fine too. Because of the Christmas parade that evening, the parking garage the best way to avoid street closings. If you need to get to your vehicle, it may be easiest if it is parked in the Cactus Hotel parking garage. Do NOT park on Beauregard Ave, South Oaks St, or West Twohig. To enter the Cactus Hotel before the ceremony for emergency’s, enter through the 2nd floor parking garage entrance.

What are the ceremony details?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a full service Catholic marriage with a mass. We encourage and wish for everyone to be as involved as your are capable of during our marriage ceremony. Special programs will be handed out for all guests to follow along with during the ceremony. Our ceremony will also be a public ceremony. This means that anyone will be able to attend the ceremony, not just our invited guests. The ceremony will take place along with the normal Saturday night mass that families would normally attend regardless of a wedding ceremony. Seating will be reserved for family members so please arrive early to ensure a good seat! Sacred Heart Cathedral can accommodate up to 400 people. BUT, the total number of guests for the wedding is approximately 200 people, and with the usual Saturday night mass attendees, it could fill up very quickly!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi formal to Formal. Please no shorts, flip-flops, or t-shirts. Think Christmas church attire. Ladies, if you would like to wear a long dress, go for it, or if you would prefer a cocktail dress or pants, that is fine as well! Men, nice pants, sports coats, button up shirts, or suit and tie is preferred. Of course, being in West Texas, cowboy hats are always an appropriate accessory.

Guest Book?

Answer

Instead of doing a traditional guest book, we are asking all of our guests to please bring a Christmas ornament that represents YOU, not Nolan or I. Please make sure your name/s is on the ornament somewhere. if you prefer not to write on it, we will have cards and ribbon avaliable at the reception. We will have a tree designated for guests to hang ornaments on. Every year, we will be able to add your ornaments to our Christmas tree and remember the people at our wedding.

Is there transportation to or from the venue?

Answer

At this time no. We suggest using Uber if you need a ride. The hotel is only 4 minutes from the venue. Since we will be serving alcohol, we want everyone to end the night safely! At the time of booking, the hotel offered a shuttle service but have since stoped. If transportation options change, we will let our guests know.
