We’re getting married!

Running into each other that day at a murual friends house had to be the biggest blessing in disguise. Realizing both of us have changed over the years we did’nt know how to act, but within minutes we realized no matter how much we have changed we are still the same kids that were best friends. Its crazy how easy it was to talk to each other, to make each other laugh, and to become closer than ever within a month. It felt as if we never lost contact at all. Falling in love with your best friend over a teenage summer was beautiful. You fall in love so intensely and so fast you can only pray that it lasts forever. Thankfully God had a plan for us all along and brought us together. We are so grateful to have each other and the familes that come with.

He didn't go big, or glamorous, or expensive, but he went meaningful and perfect for us. As I sat with my Nana in the living room of her Arkansas family home we talked about life and how blessed we are as a family. Soon after Zack, Dad, and Popa all came in sweaty from messing around with the colts at the barn. All quiet they sat down beside us and had a glass of sweet tea. We started to talk and laughing at how competitive my Nana is and that Zack better stop beating her at uno soon before she loses it. After cooling off and relaxing for a bit Zack started his speech that was so sweet and intimate. He knew exactly what to say to make me feel so loved and special. He got down on one knee and asked the question “Will you marry me?”. I was so happy and I excited I jumped down from my chair said yes with tears in my eyes and hugged him so tight. It meant the world to me that he made it so personal. He made sure to have the people I love most there to share that moment with us. For that I love him even more.
