What is the dress code for your events?
Answer
Friday Welcome Drinks: Dressy-Casual Dressy Casual Attire: Sundresses, jeans/khakis/slacks and a button-down; jackets optional Saturday Wedding: Formal Floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or dress pants/jumpsuit; jacket and tie or a traditional suit and tie (no tuxedos)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Optionally, guests may arrive as early as 5:00pm to check out the sculpture park. Please plan to arrive no later than 5:15pm.

How should we get to the wedding?
Answer
From The Westin Waltham hotel block, there will be a shuttle both to and from the event. Shuttles depart the hotel at 4:30 and 5:00pm. At the end of the night, shuttles depart the venue at 10:15pm and 11:00pm to return guests to the hotel. Guests are also welcome to take an Uber or drive to the venue. There is parking available at deCordova. Note: It will likely be challenging to get an Uber or Lyft at the end of the evening (deCordova is in a somewhat rural area). You may have better luck scheduling a taxi service, or taking the shuttle to The Westin Waltham and then requesting a rideshare from the hotel.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Friday: Welcome Drinks will be fully indoors in an air conditioned restaurant. Saturday: Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. Dinner and dancing will be under a sailcloth tent.

Is there anything specific we should know about your wedding venue?
Answer
Our wedding will take place at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. Guests are welcome to walk around the grounds in advance of the ceremony and/or during cocktail hour. Galleries inside the museum will be temporarily closed due to the museum updating their climate control systems for the artwork. This won't impact the event. Indoor spaces will still be a comfortable air conditioned environment for guests.

May I bring a plus one?
Answer
We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear after your name as "& Guest."

Are children invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (with the exception of immediate family members). We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will there be any events on Sunday, 7/20?
Answer
Guests are encouraged to sleep in and arrange any activities of their choosing before their departure. There are no scheduled events on Sunday. Thanks for celebrating with us!
