Question

With the venue being a barn, what can we expect?

Answer

The inside of the barn is highly upgraded from its original purpose. It is a very clean venue with normal indoor plumbing style bathrooms, concrete floors, a full service bar, etc. The outside space is flat and grassy with a gas firepit and yard games.

Question

Will it be an outdoor or indoor ceremony?

Answer

Weather pending our ceremony will be held outside, so consider this when choosing your attire. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

Question

Can we bring in outside alcohol?

Answer

The Barn at Mirror Lake does not allow any outside alcohol to be brought in as part of their liquor license agreement. Any alcohol to be found not purchased directly from the Barn at Mirror Lake will cost us our security deposit.

Question

Is smoking/vaping permitted on the property?

Answer

Smoking and vaping is permitted outside the barn only. Smokers, please make sure cigarette butts are disposed of properly as we are responsible for the clean-up of those.

Can we use party supplies to help celebrate?

Answer

While we are excited for you to celebrate with us, The Barn at Mirror Lake does not allow the use of confetti, glitter, or slime inside or outside the facility. In lieu of this, we will be accepting hugs, hand shakes, and high fives! :)

What types of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

We are planning a barbeque style menu for dinner. Other snacks, desserts, etc. will also be available throughout the day. If you have any major food allergies, please let us know. We will try our best to accommodate your requests.
