We met the very first day of Freshman year at IU: 8am Monday morning business class in McNutt. Kayla walked in at 7:59am in athletic clothes and birkenstocks. She snagged the first open seat she saw which was next to a girl in a dress and full face of makeup, who was probably the first person to get to class. By the end of the hour, Kayla learned this girl's name was Emily when she asked to exchange numbers "to help with classwork". We quickly became good friends throughout the semester and continued our friendship through Freshman year. By the end of Sophomore year we were dating, Junior year brought us both to St Joe, MI for an internship, and Senior year we celebrated college graduation together. Fast forward to now where we've put down roots in Michigan with our first real world jobs, home ownership, getting engaged, and now getting married!
