We're staying at The Bellagio Hotel in the center of the Las Vegas Strip.
We hope everyone will stop by the Bellagio for a cocktail, charcuterie, snacks, and Mario Kart in our suite. Stay as long or as little as you would like, or feel free to skip it if you're road weary and we'll see you later Friday night or on Saturday at the wedding.
After the couples’ exit following the ceremony, there will be a brief pause before they’re invited back in for their “Grand Entrance” photo opp. Following the Grand Entrance, please follow instructions from the photographer and wedding coordinator. Once guests are dismissed, please stick around for a group photo at the venue, then head to Fogo de Chao for the reception!
Caesar's Palace and The Cosmopolitan on either side. Paris, Bally's and The Cromwell are across the street. Aria and Vdara are also close and connected to The Bellagio.
Yes! Our recommendation would be Vdara, probably one of the best hotels on the strip in terms of bang for your buck. All rooms are apartment style with a kitchenette, and it's close to The Bellagio. Two other options would be Delano, the all suites hotel attached to Mandalay Bay, and Park MGM.
No. Uber, Lyft and cabs are omnipresent on The Strip. There are also busses and The Monorails
Aggressive Time Share salespeople. These people will typically approach you and offer free show tickets, meals, or nights in hotel. In return they’ll expect you to attend a timeshare presentation where you will get the hard sell. Tip: If someone asks how long you're in town, say ‘I’m leaving tonight.” Showgirls/Superheroes/Anyone in a costume on the strip. If you take a photo with one of these people they’ll pester you for a tip! The Shell Game/Three Card Monte. Quite simply you will lose EVERY time. Anyone offering you anything "free". It's never free, whatever it is! Hotel Convenience stores. You’ll pay absurd markups at these. CVS and Walgreens are plentiful on the strip, go there instead if you forgot something. Casino ATM fees. You’re going to pay $8 minimum (and often $10 or $20) to take cash out at a casino ATM. Bring cash from home, get cash back when buying something with your debit card at CVS/Walgreens, or find a bank branch off the strip.
Las Vegas is a city that runs on tips. The $20 dollar trick is the practice of placing a $20 bill between your credit card and ID when checking in a your hotel and asking “Are there any complimentary upgrades available?” In hopes of getting a room upgrade. If effect you are tipping the person checking you in. Does it work? In our experience, yes. At least in a limited way. We have gotten upgraded a bigger room -basically the next tier up from the room we’d booked- and also gotten moved to higher floor room with a better view. Whether that’s worth it is up to you, and you may just want to avoid the whole clandestine nature of trying it, plus potential embarrassment if the answer is no, and they have to awkwardly slide your $20 back. One tip if you want to try it, ask if there are complimentary upgrades available without slipping the $20, then if they say yes, slip them the $20 since they did you a favor. There's a whole website dedicated to the practice: https://20dollartrick.com
Yes---while you are actively gambling a waitress my come to take your drink order. Don't forget to tip and don't stray across the casino after you've ordered.
Yes! The exception is if you are creating a disturbance, or if you open a glass container.
