This date almost didn’t happen for multiple reasons but we know now why it did! The first thing Kobe said to me was “Don’t you dare touch that door.” After growing up with my dad teaching us about how a man should treat us on a date, I was pleased at this remark. Needless to say, I was taken from day one.

On our trip to Colorado, Kobe secretly hired a photographer to meet us at Lily Lake. I was completely oblivious up to the point that he started going down on one knee and pulling out the ring! All I remember saying was “You suck!”, considering he told me it wasn’t happening until the spring.
