The ceremony will be indoors as we do not wish to take chances with the weather.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

There will be a Christian wedding ceremony led by a pastor with an exchange of vows.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
In April, the weather will have started warming up but can still be unpredictable. Average high temperatures tend to lie between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit (15 and 20 degrees Celsius). Early mornings and late nights can see temperatures dip to approximately 40 to 50 Farenheit (5 to 10 degrees Celcius). It would be smart to bring a jacket.

Which airport is closest?
Answer
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is closest. It is a 40 to 60 minute drive from The William Penn Inn. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a 1.5 hour drive away from The William Penn Inn.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?
Answer
Philadelphia is a great place to visit; there is something for everyone! There is a lot of history, it being the birthplace of the US. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour. There will also be a three-course meal served during the reception.

Are children invited? If so, is there a babysitting service?
Answer
There is no baby sitting service available therefore only a few children will be invited. A children’s meal will be available for those invited. The option to select will be in your RSVP form.

Are credit and debit cards accepted at the venue, or do I need cash?

You do not need any cash or cards; there will be an open bar throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

We aim to have you relax and enjoy the festivities but are aware that with an event like this, we may need some help. If you would like to be considered in case we need anything, please let us know.

Where can I stay?
Answer
We have reserved blocks at two hotels that are less than 10 minutes drive from the wedding location. The hotel block links are listed under the "Travel" tab at the top of this page. These offer rates that are refundable if you cancel more than 48 hours before arrival. You may be able to find cheaper rates at other websites; these may/may not be non-refundable. We encourage you to shop around to find what suits your needs best. Some of you may find that renting a place via Airbnb is a better fit for your needs.
