Rick is Koaly’s dad and is always full of dad jokes. When you need a good laugh, Rick never fails to come through. Rick and Jennete have been married for 26 years and have 5 daughters. Rick is extremely patient with that much estrogen running around the house and is very excited to have another male around to play golf and watch sports with.
Jennete Killpack
Mother of the Bride
Jennete is Koaly’s mother and best friend. Jennete is the most selfless and strong person in the universe. She always puts everyone else first and is never afraid to stand up for her beliefs and doesn’t care what other people think of her. She is extremely talented and is an expert gardener, mother, cook and is drop dead gorgeous. You can always find her in her flower beds or watching a yankee game. I am so grateful to have a mother like her as an example of who to be.
Lyle Bates
Father of the Groom
Lyle is the dad of all dads. Some of his passions include but aren't limited to.....Being a Star Wars/Lord of the Rings nerd. Taking BYU football players to school on the basketball court during his college days. Saying "garbage" and calling someone a clown at least 34 times when driving anywhere in a car. Making extremely good Prime Rib and Yorkshire Pudding. And, knowing every word to the 'Sons of Provo' soundtrack.
Jill Bates
Mother of the Groom
Somewhere between Annie Oakley and Farrah Fawcett, Jill is a cowgirl who enjoys the finer things in life. Like Coca Cola. And Reisen's. Some of her fun quirks are having the heat turned up to 85, being under 3 quilts, and not sweating... Regularly beating cowboys at barrel racing and roping... Being very caring and tender when you need it, and telling you to cowboy up when you need that too....And of course, having the best Christmas decorations this side of the Mississippi.
Ali Killpack

Ali is Koaly’s younger sister and one of the funniest people you will meet. Ali loves to travel but also appreciates the Netflix and chill life with her cat. She has an infectious smile and laugh and can always crack us up with her silly jokes.
Stazie Killpack

Stazie is Koaly’s younger sister and is always up for an adventure. While a lot of her time is taken up with competitive softball, dances, her new job at Zeppe’s and homework.... Stazie always makes time to hang out with Koaly and Ian. We’ve shared many late- night movie sessions, game nights and ice cream runs. She is amazing at keeping up a conversation with you and standing up for what she knows is right.
Lilli Killpack

Lilli is Koaly’s youngest sister and the girl you will always find on a horse. Lilli is a competitive English horse rider who hopes one day to compete in the olympics. When Lilli isn’t on a horse she is out riding on her roller blades, reading a book or drawing amazing sketches. Lilli knows how to party and will certainly keep you on your toes.
Heather Woolf

Heather and Koaly share many things including their first name. (Koaly’s legal name is Heather fun fact). Heather and Koaly met just 3 years ago but it seems like a life time. After only knowing each other for a few hours people asked how long we had been friends and were shocked to learn we had just met. Heather and Koaly share many interests, talents and hobbies including but not limited to singing, love of french fries and smoothies, parties, chick flicks, musicals, and art. Heather is a beautiful woman who knows how to make you feel welcome and always is very organized and on time. Good thing we have her to keep all the details straight.
Tayli Christofferson

Tayli has been Koaly’s friend the longest (13 years now!) after meeting in Jr. High. Tayli has always been someone you can turn to when you need a shoulder to cry on, a tutor on homework, or a wing woman at a party. Koaly and Tayli and Koaly have shared many late night boy talks, ping pong parties, game nights and last minute food runs. Tayli is one of the most hard working and loving people you will ever meet and I am honored to have her by my side on my big day.
Alex Christofferson

Alex is married to Tayli and is a fantastic addition to our friend group. Alex and Ian quickly became friends bonding over their mutual love of hockey, fishing, and board games. Alex is quiet at first but once you get him to open up he is the life of the party and conversation.
Bella Markert

Bella is one of Koaly’s long time friends (coming up on 12 years). They also met in Jr. high through a shared love of music playing the flute. Bella and Koaly spent countless hours watching chick flicks, writing notes and leaving them in books in the library, singing and snow cone dates. We also have Bella to thank, as she kept Ian’s plans to purpose a secret and helped pull off the surprise flawlessly. Bella is one of the most tender and sweet woman I know. Bella’s kindness and reputation precedes her and I am lucky to call her my friend.
Kaleb Markert

Kaleb is married to Bella and is one of our dear friends. Kaleb and Ian share a love of fishing, board games and anything outdoors. Kaleb is extremely generous and kind. He has volunteered his time a few times to help with Ian proposing and even painting our house! Kaleb is extremely mature and a thoughtful man. We are honored to have him as a part of our wedding party.
Stacy Aragon

Stacy and Koaly met in High school during choir class and quickly became friends. Bonding over boy talks and music tastes the adventure never stopped. Stacy and Koaly have been in the same single’s ward for a few years now and have had many many late night adventures and late night venting sessions. Stacy is the best baker around and makes the most amazing wedding/birthday cakes you will ever taste. I hate cake but I love Stacy’s cakes. We are so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid and as our official wedding cake baker.
Alex Graham

Alex and Koaly became friends three years ago when they met at a single’s ward party. When introduced to Ian, Alex and Ian quickly became best friends. Ian and Alex both share the love of guns and outdoor adventures. Alex is extremely loyal and kind. He is always the first to jump to your defense and always has your back. We would trust Alex with anything and are so grateful to have him as a friend.
Steve Mason

Steve is the most sarcastic and dry person you will ever meet. Those who don't know him, say he is a man without feelings...and emotionless....Those who know him, know he's one of the most caring guys around, and someone you would love to have in your corner. Some of Steve's favorite past times include, writing, spending time with his adorable daughter, eating sushi, and making people consider altering all of their life choices by making a joke, not clarifying that it's a joke, and staring at them with a blank expression.
Adam Johnson

Adam is the most interesting man you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He's always down to get some awesome messy food and chat about life's problems. You'll never see him wear anything but flip flops and cargo shorts with maps on them in the warmer months. He has a ravenous love of any movie that is super weird, and of nerf guns. His beard is majestic...And he will also probably beat you at Golf.
Derek Hislop

Derek has been Ian's best friend since High School. Their friendship was centered around Training Table Bleu Bacon Burgers, Call of Duty, Utah Jazz Basketball, and really stupid TV shows such as 'Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire'. He's been through all the bad with Ian, and for some reason keeps sticking around. Also....He will beat you at Golf. I'll put $50 on it.
Tyler Harman

Tyler and Ian met when Ian started working at Ancestry. Tyler quickly became a stellar friend, and a great Call of Duty wingman. He's one of the most genuine and kind people that you will ever meet. He has almost no drawbacks...Except for the fact that he's a Houston Rockets fan...Unironically...I think his brother Josh describes him the best...."He's so bald".
Greg Bates
Brother of Groom
Greg and Ian have known each other for almost 30 years. Like brothers, they have at times been the best of friends, and the worst of enemies. Once, Greg even roundhouse kicked Ian into his parents closet door, leaving a rump size hole. Greg has always been a great big brother, and Ian looks up to him many ways. Greg is also a frontline hero working as an ER nurse in Oregon.
Tayler Eriksen

Tayler is Ian's soon to be brother-in-law. He always has a massive smile on his face, and is one of the first people to diffuse awkward and tense situations. Tayler can also produce some of the very best one-liners you will ever here. He's hilarious and kind, and is a great example to Ian in many ways.
