While neither Kirsten or Nate was exactly expecting to find "the one" on a dating app, a swipe right on Tinder led to a first date. Kirsten had taken the leap and messaged Nate first, Nate matched with Kirsten but was hesitant because Kirsten had the same name as his mother. Kirsten was very persistent and finally Nate gave in. We had a memorable first date full of tacos, quesadillas, and jumbo margaritas. After about two weeks, Nate asked Kirsten to be his girlfriend. After a year of dating Kirsten convinced Nate the roommate life wasn't for them, and they bought their first house. One thing led to another, after 5 years a proposal and Sebastian came along.
