Amy and I met through H-E-B back in 2019. We struck up a friendship at work and enjoyed each other's company during shifts. Little did Amy know that I had developed a huge crush on her. After hanging out with each other outside of work a couple of times, our connection turned romantic and the rest is history. We truly are best friends and are so excited to be married to one another for life (P.S. there was origami involved and did I mention I was her manager? The long version of our story is available upon request.)
Even as a boy, I was always quite the romantic. I started having crushes at a very young age and always dreamed of meeting my one true love. Another aspiration of mine was to go on an adventure to Europe to see the Eiffel Tower. At 21 I finally met Amy, the woman I had been dreaming of. Then after four years of dating and being in a healthy place financially, I was finally able to book the adventure of a lifetime; and knew the person that would be joining me was my soulmate. Upon booking the trip I decided that I would utilize it as not only a way to see some incredible countries, but to finally take the next big step in our relationship. Upon coordinating with our private tour guide, Milan, and setting up the place - I formulated a plan. I would propose in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris when I felt the timing was right and hope for the best. First, we went to London for three days and had a lovely time. Our next stop was in Paris, the city of love, where the engagement was set to take place. The second day is when our tour with Milan was scheduled. In the middle of our tour, the stop at the garden had finally arrived, after walking around for a bit, I pulled Amy over to a bench and started to profess my feelings, I popped the question with the ring, and she said YES! We celebrated with lunch and champagne then saw the Eiffel Tower at sunset. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We finished off our trip in Rome as an engaged couple riding on the high of that special moment we shared in France. The trip truly was a dream come true!
