We're Getting Married!

Allie and Jorge’s story began in the fall of 2021 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they both studied civil engineering. They first met when Jorge would visit the math tutoring center on campus, where Allie worked, to “study”—though it was really just an excuse to see her! Throughout their time at NJIT, they crossed paths in a few classes, but it wasn’t until they were assigned as partners in their online Engineering Management class during senior year, that their relationship truly began. Their first date was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and soon after, Jorge asked Allie to officially be his girlfriend. The next year was filled with countless memories that laid the foundation of their love. On January 26, 2025, Jorge proposed to Allie, marking an exciting new chapter together. They’re both filled with gratitude and cannot wait to continue writing their love story together!
