When Sean and Jess started dating in June 2020, the world was still in the middle of a pandemic, and they had each just finished their semesters virtually. After building a strong friendship in the previous few years, Sean figured it was the perfect time to officially start their love story. He had just finished his senior year at The George Washington University, and since they were both quarantining at home in New Jersey, they’d finally be a little closer before Jess returned to Dallas, Pennsylvania, for the fall semester of her junior year. Over the next five years, their relationship would span countless miles and time zones. Sean’s journey through medical school took him to New Jersey, Grenada, Texas, and Staten Island. Meanwhile, Jess split her time between New Jersey and Pennsylvania while finishing her master’s in occupational therapy. Despite the miles between them, Sean and Jess filled those years with countless memories and many, many FaceTime calls. Together, they’ve shared endless laughs, traveled to many new places, tried amazing food, and attended more than a few Devils games. This is just the beginning of their story, and they cannot wait to start the next chapter surrounded by their closest friends and family members!
