When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need your RSVP by August 30th so we can let our vendors know who’s coming and make sure everything’s just right. Thanks for helping us stay on track!

We’re keeping our celebration cozy and personal, so invitations are limited to those listed by name. If you received a plus one, you’ll see their name on your invite. Thanks so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’re planning a night full of laughter, dancing, and cocktails—and we’d love for you to enjoy it without any worries. So please, no kids at the wedding. Time to book a sitter and get ready to celebrate!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re aiming for a classic and elegant vibe with a black tie optional dress code. For men, that means a dark suit and tie or a tuxedo—either is perfect. For women, think floor-length gowns or stylish cocktail dresses. We want you to feel fabulous and comfortable while celebrating with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, and we kindly ask guests to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to allow time to find your seat and get settled. Please note that seating will close 5 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so we can begin on time without interruptions. Thank you for helping us keep everything running smoothly—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the venue is limited, and overnight parking is not permitted. Any vehicles left after the event may be inaccessible the next day, as the venue is gated. Because we want everyone to enjoy the evening and get home safely, we highly recommend using a ride share service or carpooling if possible. Thank you for planning ahead and helping everything run smoothly!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors—because nothing beats that fresh air and fall backdrop! That said, it’s Michigan in October, so we could be blessed with sunshine and 90°, snow flurries, or anything in between. Please dress accordingly and keep an eye on the forecast. We'll have warming options available if the weather gets chilly, and in the case of rain, all events will be moved indoors. Whatever the skies bring, we’re ready—and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What's for dinner?

Answer

A plated dinner will be served during the reception. Come hungry and ready to enjoy a meal together—we can’t wait to dine and celebrate with you! Every meal will include a side salad and a dinner roll. Entrees will be served with garlic mashed potatoes and maple-glazed roasted carrots. The following options will be available for you to choose when you submit your RSVP. Chicken Chardonnay (GF): Seared boneless chicken breast smothered with sauteed mushrooms and onions and topped with a chardonnay cream sauce. Chuck Tenderloin (GF): Grilled chuck tenderloin sliced and topped with caramelized onions. Vegan Stir Fry (V, GF, DF): Fresh seasonal vegetables stir-fried in plum and soy sauce served over rice. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can do our best to safely accommodate.

Will there be a bar?

We’ll be celebrating in style with an open bar—that means beer, wine, and a full selection of liquor and mixers to keep the good times flowing. We’ve also picked out a couple of signature cocktails (one from each of us!) to add a personal twist to your sips. So raise a glass, try something new, and toast with us all night long!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

We’ll be hosting a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding to start the celebrations early! If you're invited, you'll find an additional event to RSVP to when you scan the QR code. We're excited to kick off the weekend with some good food, great company, and a relaxed evening before the big day!

We know the groom enjoys a good cigar every now and then, is there smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

As much as the groom enjoys the occasional celebratory cigar, we want to let everyone know that smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Please leave your cigarettes, cigars, etc., at home for the evening. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us respect the venue’s policies—and keep the celebration fresh (and fire-free)!
