Victoria and Trent’s story began in August 2020 at a cozy Santa Cruz coffee shop — 11th Hour Coffee. Victoria was working as a barista, while Trent was behind the scenes in the kitchen for Kickin Chicken. What started as casual conversations between the coffee bar and the back communal kitchen quickly became something more. Trent found his own charming way to get Victoria’s attention — by bringing her food almost every day, hoping to impress her one dish at a time.

After months of talking and building a friendship, Trent finally gathered the courage to ask Victoria out on January 22, 2021. Because it was the middle of the COVID era, he asked if he could cook her dinner instead of going out. Victoria said yes — but the moment was so nerve-wracking that she immediately dropped the tray of clean dishes she was holding all over the floor.

A couple weeks later, on February 2, 2021, they officially became a couple, and it didn’t take long for them to realize they had found something special. Their relationship grew through shared meals, laughter, and countless memories together.

Victoria and Trent moved into their first home together deep in the redwoods of Felton, CA. On day 1, they stayed up till 2am to mount their TV which really put their relationship to the test!

Three years after asking Victoria out, Trent planned the next big moment. On August 5, 2024, he proposed in Santa Barbara— a city that already held meaning for them since they had both attended college there at the same time, though their paths hadn’t crossed back then. This time, though, everything aligned perfectly.

Now they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people they love most!
