We have a shared love of traveling and tried to make the most of the time we had off during medical school. Our M2 year, we took a trip together to the Dominican Republic and had the best time!

We spent a lot of brain power in medical school trying to make studying and the crazy schedules more fun. One day we dressed up to class in winter onesies as a joke!

After our engagement, Alec arranged for both of our immediate families to meet us at Chandler Hill Vineyards for lunch, wine and a celebration! It was one of many wonderful surprises that day!

We have a shared love of being active and exploring! One of our many medical school trips was down to the Great Smoky Mountains NP to hike, bike and explore the surrounding area.

Our "blocks" in our first two years of medical school were 10 weeks long. Sometimes, our roomies would find us passed out during our cram sessions the last half of the block (or vice versa)!

Anyone who knows Kelsey knows her love of margaritas and queso. Alec quickly caught on to this love and planned the perfect birthday dinner their first year of medical school!

The last couple years we have had the pleasure of celebrating many of our friend's weddings! During a recent wedding, we were able to spend time with Alec's parents Mike and Lenore at Lake Tahoe!

In June 2024, Alec graduated from his Emergency Medicine residency in Tacoma, WA!

One thing many of you know is that we are big foodies! We have so much fun finding and trying out new restaurants. We are just now finding new places we love in Rolla, MO now that we are settled!

Alec has really grown into the role of "dog dad." Wrangling our three crazy pups is a challenge but we love them! Left to right: Kaia, Ryden, Dixie
