We met 3 and a half years ago when Michael was a trainer at Gold's Gym. My friend told me I just had to come to workout there because the one trainer was good looking and she thinks he is single, haha. So I did but he wasn't and that was okay. I continued to attend his classes and when he moved to another gym i went there too. He pushed me to be better and I liked that. Fast forward a couple of months and I get talked into doing a Spartan Race. I continued to train and I did the race. I did not enjoy it, haha. But I did another one and then I was hooked. Next race season comes and I do more races and we travel together as a group. I think the Ohio race in 2016 was the turning point. We learned a lot about each other that weekend. Fast forward to the end of the 2016 race season and our friendship had deepened to love. Fast forward a year and the love of my life was down on one knee proposing at a Spartan Race in front of our family and many of our friends. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing day or to be marrying a more amazing person. Michael sees me in a way no one ever has. He knows when he needs to push me and when he needs to let me find my own way ;) I can't wait to begin this life with him.
