Question

Do I need to stay at the Conrad?

Answer

No! We booked the Hotel Block for convenience! Please feel free to stay wherever you find comfortable! If you're a Marriott points person, we totally understand (so is Kelli); The Renaissance is right around the corner.

Question

Do I need to attend the Welcome Reception?

Answer

No! But please RSVP so we can provide an accurate headcount to Old Ebbitt Grill!

Question

Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone, we also want our friends with children to have a night out to enjoy themselves and celebrate! We will have some children in attendance. Please reach out to the Bride & Groom if you would like your children to attend!

Question

Do I need a Rental Car?

Answer

Maybe, Maybe Not? Totally depends on what you want to do in the city! The airports are easily accessible via Uber, Lyft, Etc. and there are plenty in the city plus the Metro. However, if you would like to explore the surrounding Northern and/or Southern Virginia areas, please feel free to rent a car. Please note the hotel charges $60 a night for parking... City problems.

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

You can drive, metro, uber/lyft, etc. to the wedding venue. District Winery offers parking if you prefer to drive. The Bride & Groom will be providing a Party Bus at the end of the night back to the Conrad and City Center Area for convenience!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We're totally hoping its between the average expected 81 and 59 degrees and lovely Fall East Coast weather. If it rains, District Winery has an indoor option, but send all the good vibes that it doesn't. Apparently its good luck to rain on your wedding day, but Kelli would prefer to not get her wedding dress wet during photos.

Question

Attire for the Welcome Reception & Wedding?

Answer

Welcome Reception attire is cocktail. Wedding is Formal attire, Black Tie not required, but Kelli has convinced Brian that wearing a Tux is necessary on our wedding day much to Brian's chagrin.

Question

Who's in the wedding party?

Answer

Just yours truly! We wanted the day to be solely about us and are choosing to forgo a wedding party and the typical Maid of Honor, Best Man, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen traditions! Ultimately this means a shorter wedding ceremony and more time to party for all of us! One of our best friends, Chance, is marrying us though and we can't thank him enough for this!

For all the days along the way
