Central Park is closed to traffic. Approximately every fifteen minutes a shuttle service will be available at the corner of 5th Avenue & 72nd Street to take guests to The Loeb Boathouse. Look for the shuttle or a van with The Loeb Boathouse printed on the side! Throughout the evening the shuttle will also be available to take guests from The Boathouse back to the corner of 5th Avenue & 72nd Street. It is also walkable by foot. Enter the Park at 5th Avenue & 72nd Street and follow the traffic road to the right. It is a very pleasant walk and should take between three and six minutes. For those with cars: small parking garages may be found as close as 72nd and 73rd off of 5th Avenue but we suggest using the Metropolitan Museum’s garage at 80th Street and 5th Avenue. It is large enough so that you will always find a space and it is open 24 hours.
