One of the most impressive National Parks for mountain views. Trail Ridge Road throughout the Summer is a great drive, can get a little congested in the Summer during weekends but still largely worth the drive, it does get up to 12,000 feet elevation with great views. Bring a light jacket for the wind and get's somewhat chillier at the higher alititude. Bring sunscreen and water. Bear Lake Trailhead in RMNP is a great jumping off point for the lake hikes (Emerald Lake for a moderate hike, Sky Pond for a long most of a day hike).
Near Garden of the Gods, cute mountain shops and boutique stores, and all around town are natural sparkling water fountains you can fill up water bottles to try (each fountain is a little different, all are safe to drink).
Another option similar to Rocky Mountain National Park, this is actually a public city park. Impressive rock formations with plenty of hikes in the area with plenty of easy to moderate hikes.
One of our favorite bakeries! Favorite pastries are Caneles, croissants, bread puddings. They are becoming well known for their breakfast pizzas and pizzas in the evening. Also the Basque cheesecake is worth a try!
