For the last few years, anytime talk of a wedding came up, we both always agreed that there would be nothing about a huge wedding we would want. If you’re here, it’s because you know one or both of us pretty well. We’re simple, low-key, and really don’t like being the center of attention. (Insert someone rolling their eyes). We always knew we wouldn’t want a ceremony in front of everyone, so we will be getting married in the weeks leading up to 10/18. We are looking forward to a small celebration with our closest family and friends.
Keith will never read this so.. Hi! Jess here. I met Keith in 2013 through my BFF Shannon. He showed up to her Halloween party dressed as the (Heath Ledger) joker. Yup - full face paint and wig. I remember thinking - “what is wrong with this dude, he’s an absolute weirdo.” I hadn’t seen him for a while after that but since he was BFF with my BFFs now husband James, he’d always show up when we were all hanging out. I realized he was kinda cute and funny (but always in relationships). He knew the previous year that we all did an RVC bar crawl for St. Patty’s Day (RIP Blackthorns IYKYK) so when it came around again in 2014, he thought, “hey I’m going to go this year to hangout with that redheaded chick” - only to be disappointed that I didn’t go… LOL Fast forward a few months later (June 2014) our friends went to Vegas and he joined. We got to spend some time together and it all just felt so natural. We started hanging out the rest of the summer and pretty much talked everyday, (and if you know Keith that’s big because he hates texting). We started (officially) dating in January 2015, (officially) moved in together in 2016 and the rest is history. I knew from the early days that he was exactly the person I needed in my life. He’s been my shoulder to lean on, my right hand, my best friend and we are looking forward to the next chapter. He’s the best dog dad (still don’t want human kids so don’t ask)! If you read this far - I love ya! Thank you for being part of our day.
