Classic gen Y love story: We met on Bumble [we both swiped right because we judged each other on our physical appearance + mutual Facebook friends!]. Nina asked an old friend if she knew of this Kevin Lawless. To her surprise, the old friend said, "Yes! He is on the shorter side, and I used to drunkenly make out with him at Xavier parties!". For some reason- perhaps divine intervention- Nina still went on the date at Platform Brewery, showing up a casual 20 minutes or so late (this is impeccably prompt for Puerto Rican time). Kevin's beautiful smile and summer tan had Nina *heart eyed emoji*. Simultaneously, Kevin quickly realized the pictures he had seen didn't do Nina justice. However, Nina didn't have her glasses on during their date, so she invited him over for a nightcap on her OHC patio. She quickly went inside, put on her specs, and then confirmed her suspicions- Kevin was just as handsome as he was sweet. With that out of the way, Nina then asked Kevin all of the typical first date questions: How many siblings do you have? What did you study in college? What do you do now? Are you republican? Who did you vote for? Do you have any student loan debt? You know- the important stuff! Then Kevin's car got rear ended while it sat patiently waiting on the street on the warm summer night. After a few months, we began dating officially. We balance each other out, support each other unconditionally, and can't picture life without one another. We look forward to growing together at our new home in Bay Village. We are head-Dover-heels and look forward to celebrating our love and future with you all. <3 xo K & N P.S.
